Dr. Shei-Wen Benjamin Lee graduated from the National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan in 1979 with his degree in Veterinary Medicine. He continued his education here in the United States at Auburn University. From 1982 until 1986 Dr. Lee pursued his masters degree in small animal surgery at Auburn University. Then from 1987 until 1988 he was working on his post doctoral training at UAB Medical Center in Alabama. In 1989 he purchased Elwood Animal Clinic where he has been practicing veterinary medicine ever since. Dr. Lee’s strong interest in small animal surgery, including orthopedic surgery, led him to be in the position to have performed the first total hip replacement surgery on a canine in both Taiwan and China where he frequently returns to teach and work with other veterinarians. His other hospitals include, El Monte Dog and Cat Hospital in El Monte, California, Elwood Animal Clinic, USA, in Taipei, Taiwan, and Elwood Pethome Animal Medical Center in Macau, China.
Dr. Yuchi Jennifer Huang graduated from the National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan with her degree in the Science of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. She continued her education in the United States at Iowa State University where she completed the ECFVG program in 2005. In 2002 she began working with Dr. Lee prior to completing her studies and finally joined our team as a DVM in 2005. In 2007 Dr. Huang partnered in with Dr. Lee as co-owner of the two Southern California practices, Elwood Animal Clinic and El Monte Dog & Cat Hospital. Personal interests include spending time with friends and family while enjoying activities such as running, swimming, hiking with her two dogs Molly and Bagel, and travel.
Dr. Vincent Lee received his bachelor degree from UC Riverside. He went on to pursue his veterinary degree at Western University of Health Sciences, Pomona, California where he graduated at the top of his class in 2010. Some of our clients will remember the days when he was one of our technicians when he joined our team back in 2005 and he has been one of our valued doctors since 2010. Dr. “Vinnie” has a special interest in small animal dentistry and spent a rotation in a Veterinary Dental Clinic while in school. When away from the hospital he enjoys leisure time with family and friends, gaming, and computer technology.
Dr. Jean Pan received her bachelor degree from UC Davis, California. She continued her education at Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine, Indiana graduating in 2013. Dr. Pan has a deep interest in cardiology, behavior, and small animal surgery. She joined us in February 2014 and quickly settled in with our team. When not seeing patients she can be found spending time with her 3 rescue dogs, Cassie, Callie, and Pipsqueak and her four birds. In her down time she also enjoys photography, cinema, and travel.
